  Accreditation

The Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (SYOGOC) welcomes you to the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games. Accreditation is required for access to the competition venues, Main Media Centre, and the Youth Olympic Village (YOV), where most of the Culture and Education Programme activities will be hosted during Singapore 2010. SYOGOC Accreditation will assist you in the accreditation application process for you to receive your Youth Olympic Identity and Accreditation Card (YOIAC).

Accreditation for National Olympic Committees (NOCs)

NOCs should refer to the Singapore 2010 NOC Accreditation Instruction Manual for more information on accreditation application.

NOCs can download the Singapore 2010 NOC Accreditation Instruction Manual. (9.03mb, PDF)

Application via the online ECR system has closed. Users may continue to check their submitted data but no further amendments may be made online. Any changes would have to be communicated directly to SYOGOC Accreditation via email at accreditation@singapore2010.sg.

The NOC President and Secretary General are now accredited under the subcategory NOC* under the main category of NOC. Each is entitled to bring along 1 accompanying guest, also accredited under NOC*, and this quota is valid only if the principal person (ie. NOC President or Secretary General) attends the Games.

The subcategory of NOC G will now be given an additional access to all training venues, reflected by the three letter code 'ATV'.

Accreditation for International Federations (IFs)

IFs can download the Singapore 2010 IF Accreditation Instruction Manual. (2.72mb, PDF)

IFs are to note that Pre-valid Cards (PVCs) will not be sent as previously communicated. For the convenience of the IFs, proxy letters will be issued via email instead. These proxy letters need be printed and presented upon arrival in Singapore Changi International Airport to enjoy the services provided by SYOGOC Arrival and Departure Operations team.

IFs are also to note that the Main Accreditation Centre (MAC) at the International Convention Centre (ICC) has been relocated to Fairmont Singapore. IFs are to collect their YOIAC from the MAC at this new location only. Other games clients staying the vicinity of Fairmont Singapore are encouraged to visit this MAC for their accreditation needs.

Accreditation for Media (Application has closed)

Media representatives including online, press and photographic journalists may also register for accreditation online. More details are available here.

Visa Requirement

Participants from countries that require visa to enter Singapore will need to submit an application separately, as the Singapore 2010 accreditation card does not serve as a visa. The procedures are also available in the Accreditation Instruction Manuals.

All Singapore 2010 participants are to note that there will not be a Main Accreditation Centre (MAC) at Changi Airport Terminal 2. Participants can look forward to visiting MACs at the International Convention Centre, IOC Hotel, Main Media Centre, Youth Olympic Village and SYOGOC for their accreditation needs.
